Passion

Dr. Shende, the Graduate Program Director for the master's programs in Data Science and Computer Science, actively supports students in learning and mastering the latest technological advancements. His approach is focused on nurturing both intellectual growth and innovative thinking within the discipline.

Research

Dr. Shende's research, supported by National Science Foundation funding, spans a broad spectrum of algorithms and their theoretical analysis. His interests include parallelism in natural language processing, network protocols, distributed algorithms, game theory, and data mining in scientific computing. This diverse focus allows him to mentor undergraduate and graduate students at Camden in their research endeavors while advancing the fields of computer and data science.
