Faculty Fellows Program

The DICE Faculty Fellows program equips Rutgers–Camden faculty with essential tools for community-based research and a comprehensive toolkit for community-engaged scholarship. Through the Community Engagement unit, faculty members are prepared to design and implement high-quality Engaged Civic Learning courses, fostering impactful community partnerships.

Faculty Fellows Program

This program supports faculty members who are committed to advancing engaged scholarship, teaching and community-based research. Fellows will receive funding and resources to develop and implement projects that have a meaningful impact on our community.

Participation and Eligibility

The program is open to faculty in all career tracks, including tenure track, academic professionals, outreach faculty, clinical faculty, and more. Participation is encouraged by all faculty members, from those with little or no prior experience in engaged civic learning, service-learning, community engagement to those with experience who may want to take a leadership role in advancing civic and community engagement initiatives on campus & off campus.

Faculty Support Services

DICE offers a number of services to support faculty in their efforts to engage communities through teaching, research, and service activities. Our staff assists faculty in the development, implementation, and assessment of engaged civic teaching, scholarship and research and provides opportunities for recognition of these efforts through ECL course designation, conference participation and publication, as well as through the annual Chancellor’s Awards for Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement.
