Rutgers–Camden Hosts Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce
Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis engages local business, government leaders on university strategic plan
Rutgers University–Camden Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis and his executive team welcomed dozens of representatives from member organizations of Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey last week. Area business leaders and government officials came to the Camden Waterfront for Good Morning South Jersey, an event series that fosters collaboration among local institutions through presentations, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities. Chancellor Tillis offered a presentation on Rutgers–Camden’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan, articulating the university’s vision for academic excellence, community engagement, and international impact over the next five years.
“We are eager to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones with members of the Chamber of Commerce,” Chancellor Tillis said. “Our partnerships allow us to better serve our campus community and our partner organizations to reap the benefits of working with our gifted faculty, staff, students, and alumni.”
The Rutgers–Camden 2023-2028 Strategic Plan, titled “A Century and Beyond of Excellence, Commitment, and Elevation,” was unveiled last November. To read the full document, click here.
